PRO TIPS
- Inspect the sleeve’s bore for scoring or an oval (out-of-round) wear pattern, this is what causes a lever machine to lose brewing pressure gradually over time even when the gaskets are fine.
- Replace the piston seals/gaskets at the same time as the sleeve; reusing worn seals against a fresh sleeve bore shortens the life of both.
